Prague-based design outfit Kibardindesign have successfully developed a levitating wireless computer mouse known as Bat. The “handy” gadget boasts a sleek design that comes in a modern, simplistic color palette of black or white. The set includes both a mouse pad and a mouse with a magnetic ring, which allows it to float in midair. Other than looking amazing Bat has serves to prevent nerve damage and dysfunction that mouse users can develop from extended use of conventional computer mice. Designer Vadim Kibardin says the mouse is specially designed to prevent mouse operators from experiencing carpal tunnel syndrome—the painful hand, fingers, and wrist condition that is often associated with prolonged use of a mouse.
Bat’s price is to be announced but it will surely grab a few headlines when it is finally released for sale to the public.
